Wrap up of the first Statistics e-training for Argentina 🇦🇷 today.
Following a series of activities on the topic of Recommendation 8, the EU Global Facility delivered a new technical assistance activity on Statistics for some 60 representatives of 16 Argentinian institutions, all members of the National Committee on AML/CFT/CPF.
Carefully tailored to address Argentina’s specific needs, this e-training on statistics was designed following in-depth discussions held during the EU Global Facility scoping mission to the country in March 2023. The e-training shall contribute to the country’s preparations in light of the upcoming Financial Action Task Force (FATF) evaluation. The three-day training was delivered by Irene Sánchez, from the Spanish Treasury. She provided participants with valuable insights into the intricacies of statistics for FATF compliance, offering a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.
Looking ahead, the EU Global Facility will also deliver an e-training on statistics encompassing all Immediate Outcomes to its new partner country, Uruguay, in August.
