This week’s workshop conducted with the authorities of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan marked the last activity on Beneficial Ownership of this year.
Led by Key Expert on BO, Alexandre Taymans, this two-day workshop was a follow-up activity from the initial workshop held on 8 November 2021.
It aimed to review and discuss the work conducted by Jordan in the mapping of the legal entities and arrangements in scope. Notably, it focused on the ongoing implementation by Jordan of its national legal person and legal arrangement ML/TF risk assessment.
It also cover the description of said entities, as well as their general functioning and categorisation.
The Jordanian authorities and the Global Facility will continue their collaboration on BO in the next year, with a specific emphasis on risk analysis and corresponding mitigating risks identified for both the entities and arrangements in scope.
